i went to florida and i went to this disney world type of place. the first adventure thing we went on was th is bridge-like thing with rope and water. it was programmed so no one would get hurt swinging into the water with these. i was with my cousin tia, i think. but people would swing and hit the water. we were walking across t he bridge and we tried it too, but i didn’t hit the water. we saw jenny jones (yes, the talk show host), swinging from it too. when we got across the bridge, we got into this room and it had old pictures drawn by people we knew. i watched a slide of them and saw pictures drawn by random people i knew. i saw one by my mom and didn’t believe it was hers. then they told me it was actually my uncle’s. the end.

anna is having a party at her place, and i’m there. thaison calls me and tells me he is at my house. i’m like, “what?!” so i don’t tell anyone because i’m sure it’s a surprise. it is funny because as i was leaving anna’s, i tell her i have to run errands and somehow his name slips out. not that anyone suspects he is in town, though.

i drive home to get him, and on my way, i call phil to tell him to meet me there. i can barely start my car, though; i have to try three times. so i eventually get him and we go back to the party. eventually, he tells me i never gave him a chance, and i am like, wth, liar, and we talk about that.

inspiration: i’ve been trying to get my friend thaison to come back to seattle for his birthday and he wouldn’t this past weekend.

it is new year’s or something, and i went to this party that happens to be at my boss joey’s place. there’s a dj and she is talking to him and giggling. and then i see her boyfriend there too. they made this jello thing shaped in a round long shape, but it is starting to melt. and some melted in her bag, so she went upstairs to clean it.

then, i ate some brie and cheese. after, i left to go find more food. i was staying in this hotel downtown and i found this licorice store that i thought was really cute. i started talking to this little boy about the licorice, and he had a small wind-up toy we were playing with; it was an elephant that had a boy walking next to it (the boy and the elephant were both a part of the toy). but then for some reason, i ended up with hye in the streets, and we were trying to go to this one restaurant. i said i forgot my wallet, so we walked back. on the way back, we met a korean friend of hers and told him to come with us, but he said he couldn’t because it was some kid’s birthday.

we went to go pick up my key because i was getting an extra one made. it cost $12 but i forgot my wallet and they didn’t have cash, so we walked back to my hotel. on the way back, we saw like, three restaurants owned by koreans, and they were pretty much all named the same. they were imitation restaurants like, “mexican replica,” “italian replica,” etc.

there was soooo much traffic and the cars were so fast and loud we had to run while we jaywalked to get back to the hotel. i also forgot my hotel room number, so i had to text my brother. i also remembered that my friend drea was supposed to be staying with me, and i forgot where she went.

i was running in a marathon with a few of my friends, and we stopped for a bathroom break, and my friend goes, “are you on your period?” and i said, “no, not for a couple of days.” but when i went to the bathroom, i had my period. some story happened in the bathroom, but i can’t remember – something about rachel bilson being in it. for some odd reason, the next scene i remember is in chinatown, at a dim sum restaurant. we were getting ready to order while we waited for people. but now my family is there. so are my girl friends. i am sitting there and i realize it is this girl named ann’s birthday. i look outside and see a flower vendor. so i start looking for cash in my backpack to buy her a flower. i can’t find any. i ask my mom for some. she didn’t have any either, i guess.

oh yeah, and my cousin is talking to my mom about getting a discount at a retail store my mom worked at, i guess.

this guy named biagio that i know says he has some, but it might be in his beret in his car. i’m finally reaching into my bag and i don’t find cash, but i find one of my uncashed paychecks for $1k or something, but it was dated for 2001. i get pissed at myself because i had never noticed it was missing. i ask my mom where there is an atm, and she says downtown. i put the check in my shirt so i don’t forget. the end. i wake up reaching for where i think my check is.

so i visited huy at this nice restaurant that just happened to be — drivable? i was just talking to him, and i saw the driver, and for a sec, he looked kinda cute. i walked away and came back and huy was like, “that’s funny, we talked about you after you left.” i said, “what about?” and he said the guy thought i was hitting on him and that he’s engaged. i was thinking, who cares — not like i liked the guy. so huy and i hang out and he’s cooking or something and he drops the bread on the floor on accident. huy also tells me he makes $1k a night and i’m like, “wow, on top of your normal job?!” and then that driver guy walks by and he says hi to me and i realize: a) he’s ugly and b) he’s hella short. i was like, “damn huy, he’s hella short and he also told me he was a little kid (16!).” then huy and i drive home. the end.

i was at puma shopping and i guess phil knew some guy that worked there. he was telling phil about these cool sunglasses. when phil tried them on, i thought they were really ugly because they had skulls on each lens! then i saw francisco working and i asked him what he thought about the bag that raymond said he’d buy me tomorrow. he said his dad thought it was like a bowling bag. i also saw this guy from my high school that lives down the block from me, working there also (dennis bounds’ kid). so also i was shopping at some store and i happened to see/be with a couple girls from my high school (anna, melinda, emily, etc.) and nicole happened to be there too. nicole was trying on earrings and i eventually told her i liked the gold and blue ones she picked out (she also said how calvin klein was big now). we all happened to be done the same time and we all got in line. i sorta walked over there the same time and i was first, but we were standing as a group. the cashier rang one person up and then looked at me and said, “do you always get in line like that?” anna also put her dress in my bag because i had a big purse. i was also asked to deliver some notes to other people that went to my high school but i had no idea how to find them.

i dreamt i was still out (from the previous night). we went bar-hopping, and went to a bar inspired by boston. earlier, we were shopping around near the bars and i bought four bagels, some mac nail polish, etc. with my friend tri. we ended up at that boston bar and i saw so many people i knew from back in the day. there was also some baby contest in the back room. i also saw don and van – i guess they were back later, when we got home to someone’s house, i was looking for this aquafina i had bought. then we were driving around and i thought we were looking for a place to eat. i was also with teresa and trevor (whom i am not friends with). then i realized it was 2pm, not 2am, so i’m like, omg, i’m late for work. so somehow i get into this room, church ceremony (it’s easter!) and i’m listening and i’m playing with my phone and i read my outgoing texts. i notice that i texted a co-worker about how i don’t care about her and stuff. i felt so bad. then my brother pulls me out of the room and tells me i’m in trouble. i remember my dad yelling at me. next thing i know, i’m at old navy (working), and had to help someone get a fitting room. i also brought pho in there for her.
